Traditional Wixárika Ceremony at Kawoq Forest
February 7, 2025
We are honored to welcome facilitators Miguel Carrillo & Don Rafael Carrillo Pizano as they host the traditional ceremonies of the Wixárika (Huichol) people at Kawoq Forest.
Through chants, dances, offerings, and pilgrimages to sacred sites like Wirikuta, the Wixárika communities strive to maintain the balance of life and express gratitude to the forces of creation for abundance and protection.
The ceremonies serve as moments of collective and individual renewal, where participants receive messages and visions to guide their lives.
